Successful participation in the procurement tender for the development and maintenance of the Forest Data Management System for the Riga Municipal Forest Manager SIA “Rīgas meži”.
We developed and implemented the Forest Data Management System for the Riga Municipal Forest Management Company SIA “Rīgas meži”.
The forest data management system was created in cooperation with SunGIS, using the system FOREMS and Go GIS options. Also, a number of integrations have been performed with SIA “Rīgas meži” internal (accounting and forestry IT systems) and external systems (State Agricultural Support Service, State Nature Protection Board, State Land Service, etc.).
Benefits of implementing and using the FOREMS system:
- systematically organized information on forest / agricultural holdings
- practically all information is spatially linked (can be found on the map)
- less possibility of errors and reduced workload in information and document processing
- better document accounting and management
